On August 11th and 12th, twenty-five journalists from the five Southern states of India, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana came together for a two-day residential program at Hyderabad to gain insights into reporting on various issues from a gender perspective. Seven sessions and two-panel discussions took the attendees through topics as diverse as education, gender-based violence, media and gender representation, post-covid media and challenges for women, and more. Acclaimed faculty shared their experiences and latest trends with the participants.
