Nurses have almost always been at the forefront of providing medical care the world over and have ushered in revolutionary ideas to change the way care is given. Yet they remain invisible, unrecognized, and unacknowledged. In our workshop held on “Let’s Celebrate Our Nurses, The Unsung Heroes Of The Pandemic” to mark the International Nursing Day, an accomplished group of specialists deliberated about the biases, stereotyping, and prejudices that the nurses face at every level, including media, the doctors, and hospital staff.
