Workshop with the creative team of Sony TV on depicting people with disabilities

The workshop was conducted on 19th June. It was facilitated by Dr. Asmita Huddar and Ms Nidhi Goyal. The purpose of the workshop was to build a disability perspective amongst the team that they would be able to incorporate into their work. This was in alignment with a new television series called Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein which Sony had just initiated. The main protagonist in the serial is a hearing impaired person. The workshop aimed to discuss the sensitivities around portrayal of the character.
