Laadli Media Advocacy and Youth Initiative
  • 2002, Population First was registered as Public Charitable Trust
  • 2005, Laadli campaign  was launched
  • 2005, Laadli Fest-An activity based campaign in colleges was launched
  • 2005, 1700 college students participated in Laadli Youth Flash
  • 2007, Maadhyam –Youth for change was launched
  • 2007, Laadli community based intervention was launched through Ganeshotsav
  • 2008, Laadli Media Awards for Gender Sensitivity was launched 
  • 2008, National Creative Excellence Awards was launched 
  • 2009, Dr.Sharada invited by US Government on international visitor Fellowship program to represent India on the theme “role of NGOS in addressing global gender issues” 
  • 2009, Million Signature campaign launched. This multi media campaign produced 63,000 signatures in support of our demand to strictly implement the PCPNDT act. The petition was presented to the Health minister Shri Suresh Shetty
  • 2009 and 2010,  Laadli invited to make a presentation at Portfolio night iand at the Ad Asia event 
  • The book “Missing Half the Story – Journalism as if Gender Matters” was formally launched by Tara Sinha, Kalpana Sharma, S.V. Sista, Dr. A.L. Sharada and Urvashi Butalia at the Laadli National Media Awards for Gender Sensitivity event on May 11, 2010.
  • 2010, Second round of NCEA (National Creative Excellence Awards) was launched .
  • 2011, Dr A.L.Sharada, was co-opted on to the PCPNDT State Supervisory Board 
  • 2011, Laadli Fellowhips announced 
  • 2011, Laadli organized an interactive session with 36 creative directors of General Entertainment Channels  
  • 2011, Our Youth Initiative “Madhyam” was relaunched as “Laadli Change Makers Clubs”.
  • 2012, A resource CD containing the communication material developed under NCEA was produced .
  • Gender sensitivity scores introduced in Campaign India magazine to review ads
  • Since last 6 years team Laadli has been participating in Mumbai Marathon
AMCHI Project
  • 2003, Thane Field level intervention was launched.
  • 2004, First exercise of village micro-planning in 2 villages, Nandgaon and Talwada,
  • 2006, First Village Knowledge Centre (VKC) established in Vitthalgao
  • 2008, Thane project re-launched as AMCHI
  • 2008, Amcha Gaon, Amchi Shaan' campaign launched in villages     
  • 2009, Second edition of  'Amcha Gaon, Amchi Shaan' campaign launched
  • 2010, Third edition of  'Amcha Gaon, Amchi Shaan' campaign launched
