Gender Media Workshops for Journalists
During our interaction with faculty and students of Journalism we realized that there was not much focus on developing a gender perspective in the curriculum. The Laadli Gender and Media awards were organized to fill this important gap both for the working journalists as well as the student journalists. The intense two-day residential theatre based workshops for working journalists and media persons aim to create a gender perspective among the journalists and provide them insights and space to explore their  own gendered perceptions. The workshops also help the participants by linking them to local resource persons who they could approach for clarifications and inputs while writing a story.
